EHL Hospitality Business School is hosting a seminar on: Regenerative Hospitality: Insights from Rural Lebanon on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at EHL Campus Lausanne
Regenerative Hospitality sees accommodation businesses as agents of change at the destination level. Hotels are here seen as building blocks of the destination system that could stimulate a net-positive impact on the wider destination. This systemic approach has been rising to prominence in recent years and stems from an ecological and living systems worldview where the goal is to promote the conditions for all life to renew and restore, fostering a net-positive mentality towards the destination at large.
This event will present the results of a Leading House MENA-funded project in two Lebanese biosphere reserves, and discuss how the project’s findings can inform destination and hotel policies all over the world.
Speakers of the seminar:
- Dr. Alain Daou, American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo & AUB Nature Conservation Center
- Dr. Alessandro Inversini, EHL Hospitality Business School
- Dr. Salma Talhouk, Amercian University of Beirut – Mediterraneo & AUB Nature Conservation Center
