EHL Hospitality Business School is proud to announce that it has been re-accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). NECHE, founded in 1885 as the world’s first quality assurance agency, is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a reliable authority on the quality of education for the institutions it accredits in the U.S. and overseas.

Upon the conclusion of the peer-review team and the self-study report, NECHE’s Commissioners elected to renew EHL Hospitality Business School’s accreditation for 10 years. Dr. Juan-Francisco Perellon, Chief Academic Officer of the EHL Group, welcomed the outcome of the re-accreditation process: “Our long-standing association with NECHE as an accredited member brings significant benefits to the school and its internal community. This includes a valuable system of shared governance, the award of US credits, and accessibility to U.S. federal funds to eligible students. Most of all, it is the alignment with the NECHE standards which brings a remarkable added value in terms of maintaining the highest educational effectiveness for our students and learners.”

The NECHE evaluators indicated that the school is a well-run, fine institution which was able to navigate the recent challenges brought about by the pandemic. They also recognized that the EHL community is fully engaged and that the institution is forward-looking. In highlighting the school’s strengths, the peer-reviewers notably remarked on EHL’s well-earned global reputation, which brings a strong organizational culture. Other areas of strength included the EHL Campus in Lausanne, an “impressive new facility” which “shows a major commitment to providing a world-class learning and working environment”.
