The Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education (GATE) stands as one of Nepal's premier institutions for Hospitality Management Education.

Established in 2007, GATE proudly secured international accolades at World Hospitality Awards in Paris, winning in the category of "Most Innovative Training Program - 2011." Moreover, it received recognition as a finalist for "The Best Professional Success -2015." GATE holds the distinction of being the sole academy in Nepal that welcomes students from 21 different nationalities, offering exceptional Hospitality Education opportunities.

GATE operates under the legal framework of the Nepal Government Company Act, holding a license issued by the Ministry of Education, and is duly approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC-Nepal). Furthermore, its programs receive accreditation from the esteemed National University: Tribhuvan University (TU), demonstrating a commitment to maintaining quality standards as evidenced by its ISO 9001:2008/2015 certification, earned since 2008.

To ensure the delivery of quality education to youth of Nepal and that of the World, GATE has collaborated with Kathmandu University to co-create the apprenticeship-based undergraduate program known as BPH (Bachelor in Professional Hospitality).

Additionally, GATE offers exceptional vocational programs in affiliation with renowned institutions such as TAFE NSW and the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) Nepal. These programs focus on areas such as Commercial Cookery Certificate III, Diploma in Culinary Arts, and Diploma in Bakery, providing students with comprehensive and practical training.

A hallmark of GATE's dedication to education is its pioneering efforts in reaching out to vocational schools across various regions of Nepal. Notably, it successfully established a vocational school in Nepalgunj, which has been entrusted to industry experts. Presently, GATE operates the FAB Vocational School in Pokhara, which serves as a model institution for vocational schools in Nepal.
