Introduction to EHL Supplemental Certificate

We would like to inform you of an important change regarding the issuance of co-signed/co-branded diplomas, which some of our Certified Schools have utilized over the past years. After thorough evaluation and in alignment with our commitment to strengthening the value and global recognition of EHL Certification, we have decided to discontinue this practice.

Key Changes & Timeline

  • Discontinuation of Co-Signed/Co-Branded Diplomas:
Effective June 2025, following the graduation of the 2024-25 cohorts, co-signed/co-branded diplomas will no longer be issued.
  • Introduction of a New Supplemental Certificate:
To maintain and enhance the recognition of EHL-certified education, we will introduce a Supplemental Certificate. This document will be issued directly by EHL and made available to students of Certified Schools that choose to participate in this initiative.

Why This Change?

  • Streamlined Certification Process: This ensures consistency across all Certified Schools.
  • Stronger EHL Brand Recognition: The new certification approach upholds the highest academic and industry standards associated with EHL.
  • Enhanced Value for Students: The diploma issued by your institution remains the primary academic award, while the Supplemental Certificate reinforces students’ affiliation with the EHL network.

We recognize that this is a significant change, but we firmly believe that the new Supplemental Certificate will offer greater value and recognition to your students, while also reinforcing the spirit of community within the EHL Network of Certified Schools.
