Serving as Chair of the Commission has been an honor, and our collective achievements this year stand as a testament to your dedication and vision.
2024 has been a transformative year for the Certification Scheme. Together, we embarked on a significant revision of the Certification Standards, aiming to elevate their impact. This process has been guided by one overarching goal: to ensure these new standards not only uphold excellence but also inspire meaningful change within the Network of Certified Schools, your communities, and the broader hospitality industry. Your insights during the consultation period will play a pivotal role in shaping a framework that aligns with our shared aspirations.
This year, we also celebrated the certification and recertification of several member schools. These milestones are not just markers of individual success but a reflection of the growing strength and quality of our network. Your commitment to nurturing future leaders in hospitality inspires us all, and we remain dedicated to supporting your efforts and celebrating your successes.
Looking ahead, I am excited about the Biennial Conference in Fall 2025. It will be a privilege to connect with you in person, share insights, and further our mission to advance the standards of hospitality education together.
