The role of an educator – be it in a classroom or in a training environment – is not limited to transmit a piece of specific knowledge to participants, but rather to equip them with the relevant skills and mind-set needed to succeed in their workplace and the society. Facilitation is the core of intellectual stimulation and the learner’s development of competencies.

Our Qualified Learning Facilitator program aims at providing you with a distinct methodology, a set of competencies and a shift in mind-set to help you succeed in the challenging task of “facilitating the own learning and development of their participants”.

Program Format

The online format is a blended format delivered over a period of 6 weeks.

It includes asynchronous tasks as well as synchronous online sessions.

In this training, participants are required to:

  • Complete a series of guided reading and interactive online modules prior to a live session;
  • Be present during all the live online sessions with an EHL trainer;
  • Work and submit evaluations and training tasks between sessions;

Only participants who have attended and successfully completed all courses will be certified.

Program Schedule

EHL facilitators will deliver the sessions online through an LMS, as well as through the MS Teams videoconference platform, to which each participant will have to connect to participate in the sessions.

Participants will be evaluated on a number of criteria during the training. In order to successfully complete this part of the program, participants are required to be punctual at all times, ensure 100% availability for all sessions, wear a professional dress code and demonstrate professionalism at all times.


The training will be delivered over 6 weeks according to the structure given below.

LAUNCH SESSION - 2 hours

This session will include a presentation from the EHL facilitators, giving an overview of the history, vision, and mission of EHL.

This session will include a discussion which will cover the learning objectives, schedule, how MS Teams works, the prerequisites, videos, pre-sessions assignments, assessments, interactive live sessions, time for individual Q&A sessions, attendance to all sessions, OOO and OOM videos, and the retake option. 

Participants read and study the interactive online modules on LMS.

SESSION 04 One-On-One (OOO) Facilitation - 2,5 hours

Participants plan their "One on One" (OOO) facilitation session, record it and upload it on LMS.

Participants are required to conduct a full session for the training, film themselves and
share the results with the EHL facilitator between sessions via LMS within five (5) days after the end of the relevant session.

The technical guidelines to be observed are as follows:

  • Duration of videos: as per guidelines
  • Videos filmed through a smartphone are acceptable.
  • Accepted video formats: MP4 or MPG
  • To be uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted video – instructions will be shared later

Note: the training videos will be evaluated by peers as well as by the EHL trainer.

The results of each assessment will be shared as part of the training, and they will be shared directly to the participants.
